Kogi Guber Polls: NRC Suspends Warri-Itakpe Train Service

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has suspended the scheduled operations on WARRI – ITAPKE TRAIN SERVICE (WITS) over the governorship election holding in Kogi today.

INEC it would be recalled is conducting off-cycle governorship polls in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi today.

Announcing the development in a statement signed by the management, NRC urged its numerous customers to bear with the corporation, adding that operations would resume on Sunday.

β€œThis is to inform the general public, most especially our esteemed passengers that there will be No train operations on WARRI – ITAPKE TRAIN SERVICE (WITS) Saturday 11/11/2023 due to movement restriction in kogi state because of the Governorship election.

β€œThe train operation will resume back on Sunday 12/11/2023. The management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation regret any inconveniences.

β€œThank you for your patronage.”
