Kano Police Arrest Suspect in N3million Fraud, Murder Case

Operatives of the Kano Police Command have arrested one Sadiq Zubairu for allegedly murdering his friend after duping him of N3 million.

Zubairu was said to have conspired with two other persons to lure him into his house where they killed the victim and made away with his vehicle.

This was disclosed in a post on X by the Kano State Police, on Friday, May 10.

It reads: “The Police in Kano arrested one Sadiq Zubairu who collected three million Naira from his friend under the pretext that he would secure offer of appointment for him.

“Instead, he conspired with two other persons and lured him into his house where they jointly killed him and made away with his motor vehicle Toyota Corolla 2015 in addition to the money.”
