Jude Nneji Becomes ABC Transport Boss

Jude Nneji, the brother of ABC Transport Plc’s founder, Mr. Frank Nneji, has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the company.

This follows the retirement of Mr. Frank Nneji, who founded the company in 1993.

The appointment of Mr. Jude Nneji as the new MD and the retirement of Mr. Frank Nneji were announced in a statement issued by the company.

Mr. Jude Nneji’s appointment is effective from June 30, 2023, according to the statement.

The company expressed its gratitude to the retired Mr. Frank Nneji for his contributions, innovations, and outstanding vision, which have elevated ABC Transport to its current position in the transportation and logistics sector.

Although Mr. Frank Nneji has retired, he will continue to serve as a non-executive director on the company’s board.

The statement highlighted Mr. Jude Nneji’s wealth of experience in his new role.

Nneji holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceuticals from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Prior to this appointment, he served as the company’s deputy managing director and has been a member of the board for over 18 years.

With over 27 years experience in the transportation and logistics sector, he brings valuable expertise to his new position.

Mr. Jude Nneji has also undergone various training programs in the transportation and logistics sector, both locally and internationally.

He worked closely with the retiring MD/CEO and has been with the company since its inception.
