Evangelist Adeniyi, Pastor-in-Charge of CCC True Call Miracle Center Parish, has raised an alarm over illegal mining activities being carried out by an unknown Chinese company in Opa Abayagani, Campus road, Ile-Ife.

According to Evang. Adeniyi, the company has been operating on residents’ lands without their consent or compensation, causing widespread concern and distress among the community.

The prophet is calling on relevant authorities to intervene and stop the illegal mining activities, which are allegedly damaging the environment and infringing on residents’ rights.

Details of the illegal mining operation remain scarce, but concerned residents and community leaders are urging the Government to take immediate action.

The viral video posted by the CCC prophet is to alert Osun State Government, Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, and other relevant agencies about the situation in that area.

The incident has raised concerns about the regulation of mining activities in Nigeria and the need for stricter enforcement of environmental and mining laws. The Federal Government has been called upon to review its policies and ensure that mining operations are carried out in a responsible and sustainable manner.

In the meantime, Evangelist Adeniyi’s land has been affected

Also, the affected communities continue to seek justice and protection from the government. “We will not rest until our rights are respected and our community is safe,” Evang. Adeniyi vowed.

The situation in Ile-Ife is being closely monitored, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
