Identity of woman behind viral hate speech on Yoruba and Benin ethnicity revealed

A significant breakthrough has been made by some group of concern Nigerians in identifying the individual responsible for spreading harmful and divisive content targeting Yoruba and Benin ethnic groups on social media.

Amaka Patience Sunnberger, the woman behind the controversial voice, has been exposed.

According to Abike Dabiri, Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Amaka’s action have sparked outrage, leading to her official reporting to Canadian authorities by a group of Nigerians in Canada.

Dabiri tweeted:

“This is the picture of the lady behind the voice.Amaka Patience Sunnberger. She has deleted her TikTok account and a group of Nigerians in Canada are reporting her officially to the relevant authorities in Canada . Thanks for alerting everyone”

Following widespread condemnation, Amaka deleted her TikTok account, but concerned Nigerians in Canada have taken swift action, ensuring an official investigation is imminent.

This development marks a crucial step towards accountability for online hate speech.
