I Didn’t Discuss Nnamdi Kanu’s Release with South-East Governors – Obasanjo

Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, has clarified that the release of Nnamdi Kanu was not discussed during his meeting with South-East governors in Enugu on Tuesday, July 2.

The governors were invited to the meeting with the former president and Chief Emeka Anyaoku to discuss matters relating to regional development.

Obasanjo’s Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, stated in a statement on Wednesday, July 3, that the meeting focused on regional development issues, including security and infrastructure.
