Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has issued a passionate appeal to members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to stand firm and work towards fixing the party’s internal issues.

In a recent gathering of the Party’s South West Zonal Caucus in Ibadan, Makinde emphasized the importance of unity and perseverance.

“You can’t abandon your house because of a leaking roof,” Makinde said, using a poignant metaphor to drive home his point.

He stressed that the PDP’s foundational strength lies in its people and ideals.

“The party may face challenges, but it’s the collective responsibility of its members to mend its flaws and fortify its base for the greater good of the nation,” Makinde added.

The Governor praised the dedication and hard work of PDP members and leaders, affirming his commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at the party’s electoral success.

“Let us fix the roof together and keep this house strong for the future,” Makinde urged, calling for a united front in the face of adversity.
