The Nigerian U20 women’s national team, the Falconets, have arrived at their base in Bogota, Colombia, ahead of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

The team is staying at the Wyndhad Hotel, where they will prepare for their first two matches of the tournament.

The Falconets, who have been in impressive form, scoring 27 goals in eight games, are looking forward to their opening match against Korea Republic on Monday, September 2. The Koreans, who have finished third in the competition once before, are expected to provide a tough challenge for the Nigerian team.

Nigeria is one of only four countries to have featured in every edition of the finals since the competition began in 2002. The Falconets will also face three-time champions Germany and Venezuela in the group phase, on September 4 and 7 respectively.

With their sights set on the title, the Falconets are ready to take on the best teams in the world and make their mark on the tournament.
