End of the Line: Ex-Police Inspector Danjuma Yusuf Arrested in Plateau with 167 Rounds, Pistols, Police ID – Caught Arming Bandits

A former police inspector, Danjuma Yusuf, once sworn to protect lives and property, has been arrested in Riyom, Plateau State, with a cache of weapons and ammunition meant to supply kidnappers and terrorists . The suspect was caught at a military checkpoint with two locally fabricated pistols, 167 rounds of 9mm ammunition, pepper spray, knives, and his own police identification materials .

Investigations reveal that the former inspector, who had been dismissed from service, had been moving weapons across state lines under the guise of his former profession, feeding the very criminal networks he once fought against . Military authorities confirmed that the suspect had turned his back on his oath, trading his badge for blood money.

“The people he once swore to protect are now his victims. The uniform he disgraced is now his disguise,” a security source said.

The suspect is currently in military custody . His arrest serves as a stark warning that justice, though slow, never forgets. His reward is not a pension, but a cold cell and a ruined name.
