The Ogun State Government, through its Bureau of Information Technology, has partnered with Cybervilla to offer a free 3-month training program for youths in the state.

The program focuses on repairing technology tools, sales, and best practices, aiming to enhance sustainable development of the digital economy.

“We are more determined than ever to advance the digital economy in our state,” said Dayo Abiodun, Special Adviser to the Governor on ICT.

“Communities must rise to defend themselves and also develop skills that would make them self-sufficient.”

The training modules include in-depth knowledge of tech repairs, advanced tech systems, and maintenance of industry standards.

Participants will receive comprehensive training kits, including working tools, learning materials, and technical resources, to apply their skills immediately.

Ifeanyi Adirika, CEO of Cybervilla, emphasized that each module is designed to provide hands-on practical experience.

This initiative is part of the state government’s effort to promote digital inclusion and youth empowerment, aligning with global goals to equip young people with digital skills for professional success.
