Èkìtì Govt Initiates New Road Projects to Drive Economic Growth and Security

October 21, 2023 1 min read

The Èkìtì State government, under the leadership of Gov Biodun Oyebanji, has initiated the reconstruction of the Ikere-Igbara-Odo road as part of the activities marking the first anniversary of his administration.

These road projects would transform the state’s economy by enhancing transportation & connectivity, especially for agribusiness, GDP & security.

They will serve as alternative routes to alleviate the pressure on the Ikere-Akure road, in anticipation of a FG project in the future.

The state government is strategically constructing roads to connect communities and create a pathway for economic development, improved security, and easier transportation for commuters.

The government of Èkìtì State remains a model sub-national government, dedicated to infrastructural development that will enhance mobility, commerce, and overall development in the state.
