Ogun State has taken another step towards achieving its “Light Up Ogun State” initiative, as it welcomed a delegation from Âmbar Energia, a leading energy company from Brazil.

According to the state Governor, “We received Âmbar Energia, a leading energy company from Brazil, to explore opportunities in our state’s energy sector.”

The Brazilian company boasts an impressive installed capacity across 27 power generation plants, utilizing diverse energy sources such as biogas, hydro, solar, and gas.

Led by CEO Marcelo Zanatta Estevam, the delegation visited some of Ogun State’s generation facilities and initiated discussions on potential partnerships within the state’s energy value chain.

The Governor emphasized that this visit aligns with the state’s commitment to harnessing opportunities presented by the Electricity Act, signed by President @officialABAT, GCFR.

“As we drive Ogun State’s energy revolution, we reaffirm that our state is open for business and ready for investment,” the Governor stated.
