Cristiano Ronaldo Sets Record for Most Liked Instagram Comment

Portuguese and Al-Nassr FC forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has set the record for the most liked Instagram comment ever after congratulating Kylian Mbappe on his move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe, who joined Real on a free transfer, signing a 5-year deal, and is set to receive €15million-per-year (£12.8m), down from the €25million-per-year (£21.4m) he earned at Paris Saint-Germain. While at PSG, Mbappe scored 256 goals in 308 games and won six league titles.

Sharing some throwback photos of himself in Real Madrid gear, Mbappe revealed he was “happy and proud to join the club of my dreams’.

He wrote: “A dream come true, so happy and proud to join the club of my dream #realmadrid
“Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. ¡Hala Madrid! 🤍🤍🤍”

In one of the pictures, Mbappe is pictured posing for a picture with legend Ronaldo, who was playing for Real at the time, and the Portuguese forward duly commented on the post.

Commenting on the post, former Real Madrid player, Cristiano Ronaldo, wrote: “My turn to 👀 Excited to see you light up the Bernabéu. ⚽💪 #HalaMadrid”

The comment has now become the most liked comment ever on Instagram with over 4.7million likes surpassing a 13-year-old’s post in 2023.

While in Real Madrid, Ronaldo scored 450 goals in 438 games winning four Champions Leagues as well as other array of trophies.
