The Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Regents of Covenant University, Bishop David Oyedepo, has revealed the secret behind the institution’s success.

In a recent address, Oyedepo shared that he drew inspiration from nine top foreign universities to establish Covenant University, now ranked Nigeria’s best and sixth in West Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

These world-class institutions include Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Caltech, MIT, Stanford, Duke, and Dartmouth. Oyedepo’s strategic approach involved understudying these universities to craft Covenant University’s core values, resulting in unique products.

At the university’s 19th Convocation ceremony, held at its campus in Ota, Ogun State, the impressive ranking was announced, solidifying Covenant University’s position as a leading institution in Nigeria and West Africa.

This achievement is a testament to Oyedepo’s vision to provide top-notch education, rescuing young individuals from lifelong crises.

Oyedepo emphasized that while nothing was copied, the studies drew significant inspiration, leading to the crafting of Covenant University’s core values.

This approach has paid off, producing unique graduates equipped to make a meaningful impact.

Covenant University’s remarkable achievements is a reflection of its commitment to excellence, built on the foundation of Oyedepo’s carefully considered strategy.

As Nigeria’s best university, Covenant University continues to set the standard for quality education in West Africa and beyond.
