BUA launches Nigeria’s largest gypsum plaster production facility

BUA Gypsum Plaster Ltd., a subsidiary of BUA Group, has commenced production at its state-of-the-art Plaster of Paris (P.O.P) and plasterboard manufacturing facility in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

The new plant is Nigeria’s largest gypsum plaster production facility, with a capacity to produce 2,400 tons of gypsum powder per day.

This significant investment is expected to boost local production, reduce reliance on imports, and bridge the growing demand for plaster in Nigeria.

According to BUA Group, the new facility will provide high-quality gypsum products to the Nigerian market, supporting the country’s construction and building industry.
