President Bola Tinubu has approved 27 major road projects valued at over ₦3.9 trillion across 15 states as part of the Federal Government’s nationwide road infrastructure programme.
The approved projects include:
- 409km Niger State Dual Carriageway (Tax Credit Scheme)
- Ilorin to Ogbomoso Dualisation
- Iseyin to Eruwa to Agbesi Road
- Ijaye to Federal Government College to Ilorin Road with Akinmorin Spur
- Abakaliki to Afikpo Road
- Ogbomoso to Oko to Illupu Road
- Ilorin to Omorin to Ebe to Kabba to Obajana Road
- Idi Araba to Ayede to Olodo Road
- Baban Lamba to Sharan Road Phase II
- Enugu to Abakaliki Road with Flyover
- Adikpo to Ajayi to Tese to Akpa to Otukpo Road
- Jimeta to Mayo Belwa Road
- Igbeti Road
- Igbeti to Soro to Kishi Road
- Dabban to Makina Road
- Tungo to Karamti Road with Five Bridges
- Yola to Hong to Mubi Road Phase II
- Amasiri to Okporojo Road
- Ikere Ekiti to Ijare Road
- New Flyover on the Trans Sahara Road
- Kabba to Ifaki to Ado Ekiti Road
- Oko Olowo Junction Flyover
- Pacific Road linking Igbe Laara to Ikorodu, Lagos
- Badeku to Jaiye Road
- Yola to Fufore to Gurin Road Phase II
- Gashua Road Project
The projects are expected to improve connectivity, ease transportation, and boost economic activities across the affected states.
