The All Progressives Congress (APC) is grappling with a major leadership shake-up after its National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, tendered his resignation.

According to sources within the APC national secretariat, Ganduje’s exit came at the behest of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“You can see, they have removed the portrait of Ganduje from his office. Even his personal staff have been moving in and out with files and their personal properties since morning,” a party official revealed under anonymity.

“So it’s obvious that all is not well. We are used to this kind of thing. It happened with Adamu and Oshiomhole.”

Ganduje’s resignation has sparked intense speculation about the reasons behind his sudden departure, with many wondering what led to his exit less than a year after assuming office.

As of now, no official announcement has been made by the APC, leaving many to ponder the future of the party’s leadership.
