BREAKING ππ³π¬: Tinubu Urges UN Countries To Add UN Peace Principles To Their Constitutions
President Bola Tinubu has urged all United Nations member countries to include the main principles of the UN Charter in their national constitutions, saying it would help promote peace, justice, respect for human rights, and stronger cooperation among nations.
Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim, revealed this at an informal meeting of the UN General Assembly in New York ahead of President Tinubu’s participation in the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly in September.
According to Ibrahim, President Tinubu believes that if countries adopt these UN principles into their constitutions, they will be more committed to peaceful coexistence, fairness, and working together to solve global challenges.
