Anambra kidnapping ring busted as police arrest four suspects Including lady

The Anambra State Police Command has successfully raided a kidnapper’s hideout in Uke, Idemili North Local Government Area, arresting four suspects, including a lady.

The operation was carried out on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 7:30 pm by the Rapid Response Squad/Anti-Kidnapping Unit of Awkuzu, following credible information.

The suspects arrested are Chigozie Udolisa alias β€˜T. Dollars’, Anaolu Joseph alias β€˜Blue’, Chukwuka Udolisa alias β€˜Udokamiri’, and Chinaza Udemezue, a female suspect.

During the raid, three vehicles were recovered: a black Lexus GS 350 with registration number ENU 561 LY, an ash-colored Toyota Camry with registration number UWN 614 HK, and a navy blue Toyota Corolla with registration number UMZ 135 AD.

Additionally, a HP laptop, a car spraying machine, motor wires, and pieces of methamphetamine popularly known as “Mkpurummiri” were also recovered.

The suspects are currently undergoing police interrogation aimed at getting more details on their modus operandi and arresting other suspects who are currently on the run.
