Hundreds of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) staff have gathered at the organisation’s Abuja headquarters to celebrate the departure of Chief Executive and Registrar Garba Abubakar, whom they refer to as a “tyrant”
The workers expressed their gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing a new registrar for the commission.
They emphasised the need for the new leader to avoid continuing the anti-labour policies of the previous administration.
These CAC employees, who are members of AUPTRE, an affiliate of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), also offered prayers for the new Chief Executive and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Hussaini Sani.
