Berger Paints Nigeria Plc has reaffirmed its commitment to adhering to best practices in order to promote sustainable development in the country.

The company pledged to embrace the highest standards in production processes, and environmental protection measures, ensuring the responsible management of toxic materials to prevent their release into the environment.

The Managing Director, Berger Paints Nigeria Plc, Alaba Fagun, stated this when she delivered a speech on the imperative of continuous sustainability discussions during the inaugural edition of the “True Colours” industry panel event.

The statement said Fagun emphasised the importance of aligning these discussions with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to foster sustainable cities and communities.

She also noted that achieving these SDGs necessitated collective responsibility and formulation of enforceable policy frameworks by the government.

She said: “Our participation in this event underscores our unwavering commitment to meaningful discourse and the pursuit of a better, more sustainable future for our cities and communities.

“We recognise the significance of creating spaces that not only reflect the aesthetic appeal of our true colours but also embody the essence of environmental sustainability.

“Sustainability is a cornerstone of our policy, and we are committed to implementing sustainable practices in our office spaces and factories, with the aim of inspiring others to follow suit.”
