Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, CON, Deputy Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, was represented by Hon. Yakubu Datti at the unveiling of the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja.

The unveiling brought together prominent members and stakeholders of the ruling party as the APC begins to strengthen its organisational structure and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The event provided an opportunity for party leaders to reaffirm their commitment to effective coordination and sustained mobilisation as preparations for the election gather momentum.

Among those present were the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, Distinguished Senator Abdulaziz Yari, and the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, alongside other senior party leaders, stakeholders and members of the APC.

Representing Wase at the occasion, Hon. Yakubu Datti joined the gathering in reaffirming the commitment of the former Deputy Speaker to the continued growth, unity and success of the APC. His representation also underscored Wase’s continued engagement with the party’s political activities and preparations ahead of the 2027 electoral contest.

The unveiling of the campaign council headquarters marks another stage in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 presidential election, particularly as the party works towards strengthening its structures, improving coordination among stakeholders and mobilising support across the country.

With the 2027 election increasingly becoming a major focus of political activities, the gathering reflects the importance being placed on early organisation and coordination by the APC and its leaders. The establishment and unveiling of the campaign council headquarters is expected to serve as a central point for the party’s presidential campaign planning, coordination and mobilisation as the election approaches.
