War Looms in Oyo as Miyetti Allah Petitions Government, Security Agencies Over Sunday Igboho’s ‘Illegal Quit Notice’

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Oyo State chapter, has filed a formal petition with the Oyo State Government and security agencies, accusing Sunday Igboho of issuing threats and an illegal quit notice in Igboho town last month.

The petition escalates the ongoing feud between Igboho’s camp and the herders’ association, following Igboho’s successful operation that secured the release of a pregnant woman and her children from kidnappers in the Igboho area in June . Security agencies are now under pressure to respond to the allegations, threatening to further inflame ethnic tensions in the South-West.
