Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has described the emergence of Senator Uba Sani as Governor of Kaduna State as an act of divine intervention, saying it marked the end of religious persecution and division in the state.

Speaking during the 35th Anniversary Synod of the Diocese of Kafanchan, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Fani-Kayode said Governor Sani’s leadership has brought peace and restored dignity to Christian communities that once suffered discrimination.

“When Uba Sani came in, there was no more carnage, no more Christian persecution, and no more turning of Christian communities. We are no longer slaves nor animals; we are human beings,” he said.

Fani-Kayode added that the governor’s approach to governance has helped to heal old wounds, rebuild trust, and foster unity among diverse religious groups across Kaduna State.
