President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on young Nigerians to harness the power of digital platforms not only for self-expression but also as tools for problem-solving and national development. Speaking at the Progressives Digital Media Summit on Friday, the President urged the youth to contribute actively to Nigeria’s progress through innovation, mentorship, and digital accountability.

Addressing a hall filled with young digital professionals and an even wider virtual audience, Tinubu emphasized that Nigeria’s youth remain the country’s most valuable investment. “Your ideas, your energy, and your commitment to national development are among Nigeria’s greatest assets,” he said.

The President encouraged young people to ensure their digital footprints reflect integrity, leadership, and purpose. “Let your actions speak of a generation that did not wait for permission to lead, but stepped forward with courage and clarity,” he charged.

Concluding his remarks, Tinubu stressed that while many forces will shape Nigeria’s future, the most decisive will be the bold choices made by young citizens who dare to imagine and have the skills to build.
