Chowdeck, one of Nigeria’s leading food delivery platforms, has congratulated two of its top food vendors in Nigeria, which happens to be Yoruba food vendors, Amoke Oge and Korede Spaghetti, for achieving remarkable milestones on the platform.
Chowdeck was co-founded by three Yoruba sons, Femi Aluko, Olumide Ojo, and Lanre Yusuf.
Femi Aluko is also the CEO of Chowdeck. Chowdeck which was launched in October 2021.
These achievements highlights the growing impact of digital marketplaces on Nigeria’s food service sector.
Amoke Oge, owned by Hajia Amoke Odukoya, has recorded an impressive N2.3 billion in revenue after completing 500,000 deliveries on Chowdeck.
According to the chowdeck, this milestone marks Amoke Oge as the first woman-led business to hit 500,000 deliveries, with an average order value of N4,600. Chowdeck’s CEO, Femi Aluko, personally congratulated Amoke Oge on her achievement, highlighting the significance of this milestone for both the vendor and the platform.
As Chowdeck noted, “Amoke Oge just became the first woman-led business to hit 500,000 deliveries on Chowdeck — with an average order value of N4,600.
We’ll let you do the math.” This achievement is a testament to the vendor’s dedication and the platform’s ability to support businesses in reaching a wider customer base.
However, this achievement comes on the heels of another notable Yoruba food vendor, Korede Spaghetti, a vendor operating in the heart of the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
On May 13, 2025, Chowdeck revealed that Korede Spaghetti had sold N1 billion worth of food items processed on the platform.
Korede Spaghetti credited Chowdeck with solving “80% of our logistics problems,” enabling the business to expand deliveries beyond the university’s walls and reach a broader customer base.
These vendor successes coincide with Chowdeck’s own growth trajectory. In October 2024, the company announced it had crossed N30 billion in total deliveries for the year and surpassed 1 million registered users, up from just 319 in its first month of operation.
This growth highlights the increasing role of digital platforms in Nigeria’s food delivery landscape.
Chowdeck’s celebration of Amoke Oge and Korede Spaghetti’s achievements demonstrates its commitment to supporting vendors and recognizing their hard work and dedication.
