A group of prominent Ibadan Mogajis and other stakeholders have issued a stern warning to the Oluwo of Iwo, cautioning him against trespassing on Ogburo land and distorting Yoruba values.

The warning comes amid rising tensions between the two communities.

The Ibadan Mogajis and others emphasized that the Oluwo’s actions are not only an affront to the Ogburo people but also a distortion of Yoruba values and traditions.

They urged the Oluwo to respect the boundaries and rights of the Ogburo community.

The stakeholders stressed that any attempts to encroach on Ogburo land would be met with resistance and would likely escalate tensions between the two communities

They called on the Oluwo to prioritize peaceful coexistence and respect for traditional boundaries.

The warning highlights the importance of preserving Yoruba values and traditions, particularly in matters of land ownership and community relations.

The Ibadan Mogajis and others are determined to protect the interests of the Ogburo people and ensure that their rights are respected.

The situation remains tense, and it remains to be seen how the Oluwo will respond to the warning.
