Renowned Fuji musician, Dr. Adewale Ayuba, has revealed his extraordinary journey of secretly practicing Christianity since 2010, despite his public persona as a Muslim.
The respected Fuji musician, with multiple Hajj pilgrim, made this shocking confession before a packed audience of thousands.
Ayuba began by recalling the challenges he faced after his conversion in 2010.
As a musician with deep roots in a Muslim background, he feared for his safety, music profession and struggled with the decision to openly declare his Christian faith. “I thought if I say I’m a Christian now I might get killed,” he admitted, recalling his fears. Despite his concerns, Ayuba felt an overwhelming sense of purpose, guided by the Holy Spirit, that led him to publicly declare his faith.
He shared how he had spent years practicing Islam while privately struggling with his beliefs.
“I would carry my Bible to sanctify the prayers of the alfas, even after they prayed for me,” Ayuba confessed.
His wife, noticing his inner conflict, encouraged him to confront his fears, reminding him that God had chosen him for a greater purpose.
The turning point came when Ayuba summoned all the alfas to his home and openly told them that he had chosen Jesus Christ and Moses as his spiritual leaders.
“We all serve the same God. ANOBI Isa is Jesus, Abraham is Ibrahim, Moses is Musa,” he said.
His bold declaration marked a significant moment in his faith journey as he chose to follow Christ despite the cultural and familial expectations surrounding him.
Since his conversion, Ayuba has experienced a remarkable transformation in both his personal and professional life. He credits his newfound faith with unlocking blessings in his life, including the recent repayment of a loan he had prayed about.
“I got a loan from one bank and when i was here for 31st of December, i told my God before the end of January I want to pay this money, I made the payment three days ago. I thank God for His mercy,” Ayuba expressed with heartfelt gratitude.
Ayuba concluded his testimony by thanking God with a song for choosing him, calling him to faith, and blessing him with the gift of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
