The family and friends of Lawal Rofiat, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, are desperately seeking help from the Federal Government to rescue her from kidnappers.

Rofiat was allegedly abducted on her way from Benin to Ibadan to resume at her Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) in Ogbomosho.

According to her friends, Rofiat had struggled to support herself through university, working at Dufil company in Benin to make ends meet.

Her kidnappers are now demanding a ransom of N20 million, an amount her less privileged parents cannot afford.

“The situation has been reported to the NYSC Secretariat in Ibadan, but there has been no response.” Her friend tweeted.

Friends and family are now pleading with the Federal Government to intervene and rescue Rofiat.

“We are exhausted and desperate for help,” said a close friend of Rofiat’s.

“We need the government’s support to rescue her. We urge Nigerians to spread this message and reach out to the authorities for assistance.”

The family and friends of Rofiat are counting on the Federal Government’s intervention to bring her home safely.

They are appealing to the Government to take immediate action to rescue Rofiat and bring her kidnappers to justice.
