A disturbing video has gone viral, showing a Kenya Airways agent engaging in a heated altercation with a Nigerian passenger at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The incident, which occurred after a 17-hour flight delay, has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation.

According to the video, the passenger had grown frustrated with the prolonged delay and approached the Kenya Airways agent to express his dissatisfaction.

However, the agent’s response was unexpected and unacceptable.

In the viral video, the agent can be heard saying, “Call your president” in a dismissive and condescending tone.

The passenger, taken aback by the agent’s remark, responded angrily, leading to a further escalation of the situation.

The video has been widely shared on social media, with many calling for the agent’s immediate dismissal and for Kenya Airways to apologize for the incident.

The Nigerian government has also been urged to take action against the airline.

“This is unacceptable behavior from a representative of Kenya Airways,” said one Twitter user. “The agent’s comment was not only unprofessional but also racist and xenophobic.”

Another user added, “Kenya Airways needs to take immediate action against this agent. A simple apology is not enough. The airline must demonstrate its commitment to treating all passengers with respect and dignity.”

The incident has also sparked a diplomatic row between Nigeria and Kenya, with the Nigerian government summoning the Kenyan High Commissioner to explain the incident.

In a statement, the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “The Nigerian government is deeply concerned about the incident and has demanded a full apology from Kenya Airways. We will not tolerate any form of disrespect or mistreatment of Nigerian citizens abroad.”

Kenya Airways has since issued a statement apologizing for the incident and promising to investigate the matter. However, many have questioned the sincerity of the apology, given the agent’s blatant disregard for the passenger’s rights and dignity.
