Renowned Yoruba businesswoman Adebisi Edionseri passes away at 89

The Nigerian social and business communities are mourning the loss of Princess Kadijat Abike Adebisi Edionseri, popularly known as “Cash Madam,” who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 89.

According to a statement released by her family, Princess Edionseri died after a brief illness.

Princess Edionseri was a highly respected businesswoman and philanthropist who touched many lives through her wisdom, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.

Her life was a shining example of grace, dignity, and unwavering faith. She taught her loved ones the importance of love, resilience, and faith in Allah, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations.

The late Princess Edionseri was a successful entrepreneur who made a significant impact on the socio-economic development of Egbaland and Ogun State.

Her contributions to the business community and her vibrant social presence earned her a special place in the hearts of many.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has expressed his profound sorrow over Princess Edionseri’s passing, describing her death as a significant loss to both the state and Nigeria as a whole.

Governor Abiodun praised Princess Edionseri’s contributions to Ogun State, highlighting her as a beacon of inspiration and a role model for countless individuals.

The funeral ceremony for Princess Edionseri took place on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM at her residence in Abeokuta GRA, according to Islamic rites.

As the nation mourns the loss of this remarkable woman, her family and loved ones take comfort in the knowledge that her legacy will continue to inspire and guide them.
