The Lagos State Government is set to make history with the groundbreaking of the Lagos Medipark, a cutting-edge healthcare hub in Africa. This game-changing project is a Private-Public Partnership (PPP) initiative with IASO Medipark Ltd.

The Lagos Medipark, located on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, will feature a 140-bed multi-specialist hospital, a state-of-the-art diagnostics center, residential accommodations for healthcare professionals, training facilities to develop a skilled healthcare workforce, and commercial and retail spaces dedicated to medical services.

According to the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, the Lagos Medipark aims to reduce medical tourism and showcase Nigeria’s capacity to attract local investors for long-term projects.

This groundbreaking ceremony marks a milestone in the State Government’s efforts to revolutionize healthcare in Africa.
