TYF organization brings free healthcare services to Ilara-Mokin town

The Think Yoruba First organization is facilitating free healthcare services at Ilara-Mokin town in Ifedore local government, Ondo state.

The services, which are part of the organization’s social responsibility to the Yoruba people, include free healthcare screening for hypertensive patients, free distribution of drugs for diagnosed hypertensive patients, and free diabetes screening and referral to secondary healthcare facilities in Ondo state.

Other services being offered include free HIV screening and sex education symposium, distribution of free chlorine water purification tablets to over 1000 homes in Ifedore local government, Ondo state, and free healthcare counseling and screening by medical experts.

According to the organization, “If you want to check your blood pressure, BMI, blood sugar and other basic health check up, please come to us today in Ilara Mokin.”

The organization expressed gratitude to the Obas and local political leaders in the area for collaborating with them and helping to alleviate some of the suffering of their people.

Special thanks were also given to the medical unit of TYF both home and abroad for making the project a reality.

The organization’s goal is to “empower our people with everything we have without expecting anything back in return.”

The organization target is to tour the entire Yoruba speaking world in West Africa and beyond with this project.
