The Federal Executive Council meeting, initially set for today, has been postponed to a later date.

This decision honors the memory of Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff, who passed away on Tuesday night.

As a mark of respect, President Tinubu has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff nationwide for seven days.

Earlier, he expressed condolences to the Lagbaja family and the Nigerian Armed Forces, praising the general’s significant contributions to the nation.
