Yoruba anthem takes center stage at APC South West meeting

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu hosted the 2024 All Progressives Congress (APC) South-West Zone General Assembly on Saturday, October 5, at the Eko Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event featured the Yoruba anthem, highlighting the region’s rich cultural heritage.

The gathering brought together elected party members from the geopolitical zone, including governors, ministers, lawmakers, and party leaders, to strategize and move forward.

Expected attendees included Governors, Senators, representatives, State House Assembly Members, and top officials. According to Zonal Organising Secretary Lateef Ibirogba, the meeting focused on key issues vital to the party’s growth and development in Nigeria’s South-West Zone.

Governor Sanwo-Olu’s hosting demonstrated his commitment to fostering unity and progress within the APC’s South-West Zone.
