Ibadan Explosion: BON Hotel Ibadan Loses Staff

The BON Hotel Nest, Ibadan, is mourning the loss of their dedicated Operations Manager, Tunde Solomon, who died of heart attack on the 17th of January 2024.

His death was believed to have been a consequence of the tragic explosion in Bodija, Ibadan which occurred in the night of last Tuesday.

In a statement released by the management, Solomon was described as a vastly experienced member of the hotel staff with over 25 years in the industry, adding that he made invaluable contributions to the growth of the hotel and the Bon Group as a whole during his tenure.

The management of the hotel expressed its heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, and extended its thoughts and prayers to them as they navigate through this challenging period.

The statement reads: “We regret to inform you of the sudden passing of our beloved Operations Manager, Mr. Tunde Solomon. Mr. Solomon suffered a heart attack on the 17th of January 2024 and it is believed that was as a consequence of the explosion which occurred on the 16th January 2024 at Bodija…”
