The new governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, is currently addressing the people of the state after he was sworn in as the substantive governor of the state.
Aiyedatiwa became the number one citizen of the Sunshine State following the demise of his former principal, Rotimi Akeredolu, who died in the earlier hours of Wednesday, December 27, in Germany.
In his speech, the new governor said it was with a heavy heart he took over the reins of the governance of the state after the death of Akeredolu.
He said: “It is a devastating thing for us to lose our dear governor. This is a monumental loss. It is a great loss to me as an individual.”
