The Artist Hangout Presents ART FUSION ‘23 in Ibadan

October 21, 2023 2 min read

The Artist Hangout, in collaboration with National Museum of Unity, Ibadan presents ART FUSION ’23, which is set to hold at 9:00am, on Friday, 27th October, this year.

The theme of this year’s event, “ART FUSION”, is to create a fusion of art discourse and experience for everyone present (Artists, Art lovers and enthusiasts).

The Guest Speaker, Dotun Popoola, is a contemporary Nigerian artist (sculptor) who specialises in synergetic metal sculpting.

He creates pieces of artwork from discarded scrap metals.

His works are focused on transforming trash into treasures, rubbish to rubies and waste to wealth by repurposing wastes that threaten the ecosystem.

There will be segments for art discourse, a trade fair and a museum tour.

The Artists Hangout is a learning community centred around artists to create the culture and legacy of Art Discourse in the Nigerian art industry.

It is also a forum to enlighten artists on subjects such as finance, art law, and other subjects related to the art industry.

Based on the impact made by the event last year, this year’s edition promises to be bigger and better with loads of insights, technical know-how, and clarity on how to navigate the terrains of the art industry.

To be a part of the Artists Hangout 2023 as a sponsor, exhibitor or attendee, call or chat at 08068484484 to register.
