Prince Olawale Semiu Oyebola has emerged as new Aseyin of Iseyin, Oyo State.
Oyebola’s name was announced by the kingmakers following the selection process of the new king held at Aseyin’ Palace.
The kingmakers arrived the palace around 10am on Tuesday, August 29, after security men have cordoned off the place to forestall the breakdown of law and order.
Voting process commenced as planned by the officials of the Iseyin Local Government and security agents.
The outcome of the votes cast showed majority votes in favour of Oyebola.
Prince Oyebola is the 30th Aseyin after the demise of late Dr. Abdganiy Salawudeen Adekunle Oloogunebi Ajinese 1.
It was gathered that the new monarch worked and resided in United States of America (USA) with his family and had always shown interest in the welfare of the community, which prompted his education foundation, under which indigent students of tertiary institutions access scholarship funding.
