Some retired Police officers under the contributory pension scheme have stormed the streets of Abuja, protesting over several months of unpaid pensions.

They arrived from various state chapters, expressing their frustration with the hardship their members were enduring due to PENCOM’s inability to pay their entitlements.

The retirees are urging the Federal Government to exempt them from the contributory pension scheme.

In a video shared on the Channels TV’s X handle on Tuesday, the retirees were be seen holding placards and chanting, “All we are saying give us our right!”
