Tinubu Commissions 3 Major Gas Infrastructure Projects Wednesday

The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mele Kyari, has announced that President Bola Tinubu will be commissioning three critical gas infrastructure projects today, Wednesday, May 15.

The three projects, according to him, included the 300MMscf/d ANOH Gas Processing Plant in the Assa North-Ohaji South Field, Imo State; the 23.3 km, 36-inch gas pipeline from the Assa North-Ohaji South (ANOH) Primary Treatment Facility to the OB3 Custody Transfer Metering Station, Rivers State, and the 200MMscf/d AHL Gas Processing Plant 2 in Kwale, Delta State.

This announcement was contained in a post on Kyari’s X handle on Wednesday, May 15.

He wrote: “Presidential Commissioning of three (3) Critical Gas Infrastructure Projects

“The ceremony will be performed by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Date: Wednesday, 15 May 2024

“Time: From 12 Noon

“Venue: Imo and Delta States.”
