Soldiers Surround Venue of FG, Organised Labour’s Meeting

Soldiers are currently surrounding the venue of the meeting between the Organised Labour and the Federal Government.

The source said the action was aimed at intimidating Organised Labour, noting that no matter the intimidation, labour leaders remained undaunted.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SFG), George Akume, summoned the leadership of the Organised Labour for a meeting.

Though the source did not reveal the reason for the meeting, it may not be unconnected with the minimum wage and on-going strike across the country.
