Security Forces, Iru Ekun Members Ambushed in Oyo Forest During Rescue Mission for Abducted Schoolchildren

A security operation to rescue the abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area, Oyo State, encountered a major setback after terrorists ambushed security operatives in the Oyo forest.

According to latest reports, one police officer was hit during the ambush, while a member of the Iru Ekun Security Network was shot multiple times. However, the bullets reportedly did not penetrate the Iru Ekun member’s body, a development being attributed to spiritual protection.

Sunday Igboho, along with his Iru Ekun members and security forces, continue to work tirelessly to rescue the victims from the terrorists’ den. The operation remains ongoing.
