Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State is set to commission 420 newly completed housing units at the Lagos State Housing Estate, Ajara Phase 1, Badagry, today.

According to the Lagos State Government, the new development will expand the state’s stock of model housing units and provide accommodation for over 2,000 residents.

Commissioner for Housing, Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, disclosed this during a media chat on Tuesday, noting that the estate comprises one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.

He said the project aligns with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to delivering affordable and quality housing while ensuring the completion of all ongoing projects across the state.
Akinderu-Fatai expressed confidence that the initiative would boost the local economy and commended prospective homeowners for their patience and trust.

He also advised applicants to direct all inquiries to the Ministry’s Estate Department at Block 3, Secretariat, Alausa, and to avoid dealing with unauthorised agents.
