Press Release on CBN Governor’s Arrest from Think Yorùbá First

Think Yorùbá First, a socio-cultural and socio-political organization established to promote and defend the interest of Yorùbá People around the world made a Press release, which reads:

“Dear Sir, We the Yorùbá conservatives under the auspices of Think Yorùbá First organization worldwide want to use this opportunity to thank you, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for the prompt suspension of Emefiele as the CBN governor of Nigeria.”

“We are grateful that you listened to the cries of millions of Nigerians who suffered the economic sabotage of Emefiele which rendered millions of Nigerians penniless, hungry and dejected.”

“A lot of people also died due to starvation, attacks during the riot that ensued, and inability to pay for life saving medical procedures.We will be grateful if Emefiele is arrested and arraigned for murder, manslaughter, economic sabotage and corruption. We are happy that despite the sabotage efforts of Emefiele and his fellow cabals, Olodumare still made you emerge as the President of Nigeria. Emefiele must be duly tried and prosecuted so as to set a precedent that the office of the CBN governor and the economic lifeline of Nigeria will not be used to settle political scores in Nigeria again.”
