President Tinubu to atttend Joint Arab-Islamic summit in Saudi Arabia

Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will depart Abuja on Sunday for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit, focusing on the Middle East situation.

The summit, commencing on November 11, 2024, is hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

President Tinubu will address the Israel-Palestinian conflict, calling for an immediate ceasefire and peaceful resolution.

Nigeria will advocate for reviving the two-state solution for lasting regional peace.

Accompanying the President are Foreign Affairs Minister Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Information Minister Alhaji Mohammed Idris, and NIA Director General Amb. Mohammed Mohammed.

After the summit, President Tinubu will return to Abuja.
