March 18, 2024 1 min read

Sports kit manufacturing company, Nike, has unveiled the new Super Eagles jerseys for home and away matches.

The home kit from Nike is white with a little green and red detailing and the word ‘NAIJA’ written across the chest area of the jersey with a detailing of an eagle alongside green hoops at the end of the sleeves.

This would be the first time in three years the Super Eagles will be wearing white as its main colour.

The shorts also have the crest of the Nigeria Football Federation on one side and the Nike logo on the other side.

However, the away jersey is mostly black with highlights of green and the Nigeria football crest on the shirt and shorts.

In a post on Monday, March 18, Nike’s Instagram account shared the launch video of the new jerseys.

It reads: “𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.

“The 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒔 disrupt convention with bold twists on icons.

“Featuring 𝑫𝒓𝒊-𝑭𝑰𝑻 𝑨𝑫𝑽 😮‍💨 innovation, each kit is engineered for the needs of the modern footballer, from kick-off to the final whistle.”
