Makinde Extends Wage Award for Oyo Workers

The Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has declared that his government will prolong the payment of the wage award by an additional six months.

The announcement was made by Governor Makinde during his address at the commissioning of the dualised 12.5KM Challenge-Odo-Ona Elewe-Apata road.

He explained that the extension would be implemented while awaiting the conclusion of negotiations on the new national minimum wage.
