Makinde Approves Elevation of Civil Servants as General Managers, Executive Secretaries

The Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved the elevation of some top civil servants as general managers and executive secretaries in the state civil/public service.

In a statement issued to the press and signed by the Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, she said the appointment, which was approved by Governor Makinde, was based on merit and competence in the civil service.

The newly appointed officers include Mrs Olaide Aderonke Ladipo (Executive Secretary, SUBEB); Dr (Mrs) Hannah Adebola Okediji (Executive Secretary, ANNFE); Mr F. O. Omokemi (Executive Secretary, SOCU); Mrs Nancy Bassey Olayinka Muraina (Executive Secretary, Agency for Youth Development); Engr. James Oyelere (General Manager, OYSREB) and Mr S. T. Lawal (General Manager, Oyo State Housing Corporation).

Others are Mrs Olufunke Jolade Omidiran (General Manager, Oyo State Solid Minerals Development Agency); Mrs S. O. Okedum (Executive Secretary, Simeon Adebo Staff Development Centre); Mr Victor Muyiwa Kayode (General Manager, Oyo State Government Printing Press) and Mr Samuel Awotona (State Librarian).

The appointments take immediate effect.
