Lagos Police Arrest Man for Stealing Transformer Cable

Policemen attached to the Onikan Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested one Abubakar Haruna, 27, for stealing transformer cables.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known in a message shared on his ‘X account on Saturday.

He wrote, “Following a distress call, officers of Onikan Division have arrested one Abubakar Haruna, aged 27, after he jumped into a compound, and cut off cables from the transformer within the premises.

“He was arrested with a machete, two saws, and pliers. Investigation is ongoing.”
